International Carwash Association (ICA), the world’s leading organization for car wash professionals, today announced the launch of the Car Wash Show Europe. The inaugural trade fair and convention will take place 5 to 7 October 2015 at the RAI exhibition center in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Mirroring the highly successful Car Wash Show in North America, Car Wash Show Europe creates a new and important biennial event for the professional car wash industry.
“We’re incredibly excited to be launching Car Wash Show Europe,” said ICA CEO Eric Wulf. “While there are other events with a car wash subsection in Europe, this is the only event that is focused on the entire car wash business and the full European market.”
The event is also the first European event to be created from within the car wash industry – not from outside of it. A nonprofit organization with members in more than 25 countries and a management board comprised solely of car wash operators and suppliers, Wulf says the ICA is uniquely positioned to launch this event for the benefit of the industry. Partners supporting the event include BTG, the German car wash association, and PetrolWorld Magazine, the leading publication for the retail petroleum industry.
Car Wash Show Europe will feature three areas of value for car wash operators and suppliers: educational seminars, a trade fair and networking events. Combined, this creates an exceptionally valuable, efficient and unique opportunity for car wash professionals. “The seminars are certainly going to be of interest to car wash operators, with information that’s not available elsewhere. We’re going to be sharing information about successful car wash operators in different markets, as well as bringing in perspectives from other industries”, said ICA Board Chairman Gary Dennis.
ICA has engaged the services of MCI, one of the world’s largest communication and convention management firms with 55 offices in 28 countries, to produce the event. MCI is based in The Netherlands, near the RAI venue. “We are very excited about our new partnership with ICA and the prospects for bringing a focused car wash event to the European market,” said Peter-Willem Burgmans, managing director for MCI.
